Carlease, a Chicago, IL-based car leasing experience site delivering concierge-level consumer service, raised $3.5M in initial funding round.

The round was led by Lightbank, with participation from a syndicate of automotive industry veterans, including former Cars.com president Mitch Golub, and DRIVIN co-founders Kayne Grau and Justin Mahlik.

The company is using the funds to acquire strategic assets, to enhance their technology platform, digital experience, and business leasing partnerships, while expanding markets nationwide.

Led by CEO Andy O’Dower, former Chief Product Officer at Curiosity.com and Director of Product at Cars.com, Carlease.com provides a site for consumers to get the car they want, with the right offer, delivered to home or office. The company partners with dealers to fulfill the transaction.
The platform offers shoppers the ability to search across models. Within 24 hours, an expert will be in touch with multiple lease offers for review and then handle the approval process, any trade-in, and delivery of the new vehicle to the consumer’s home or office.
