minuteKEY Closes $83M Funding

minuteKEY, a NYC-based network of self-service kiosks for accurate key duplication, closed an $83m funding round.

The company intends to use the funds to continue its growth, rolling out to retailers across the United States and Canada.

Led by Randy Fagundo, CEO, and Andy Volkmann, CFO, minuteKEY makes patented self-service, key duplication kiosks which combine innovations in robotics, electronics and software engineering. The kiosks, found in thousands of retail locations in the United States and Canada including Walmart, Lowe’s and Menards, have copied over $140 million in keys to date.
The company has also released its third-generation of kiosks which feature a smaller footprint, bigger screen and more key chutes to provide customers with additional key types and designs.

The capital raise was arranged by Lincoln International.
