Harver Raises Additional $4.2M in Series A Funding

Harver, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based provider of pre-hiring and talent matching technology company, raised an additional $4.2m in Series A funding.

The round, which brings Series A total funding to 12.3M and total funding to $15.6m, was led by Insight Venture Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to expand the team and bring its AI matching technology to companies of all sizes, specifically within the United States.

Led by CEO and founder, Barend Raaff, Harver provides software that allows companies and applicants to eliminate the resume, establishing a more accurate and effective hiring process while also removing hiring bias and discrimination. Through automating the application process, Harver analyzes modules, tests, and assessments to match the right candidate to the job – without factoring in age, name, look, gender, or resume.
Over the past two years, the company has served tech and Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, Harver signed deals with Zappos, Netflix, Booking.com, Vodafone, OpenTable, and Casper.
The company currently has clients across 20 countries and pre-selects job candidates in 42 languages. The list of customers includes Zappos, Netflix, Booking.com, OpenTable, Casper, Xerox, Vodafone, Swisscom, Arvato and many more.
