Fatboy Products, LLC, a Williamsburg, Brooklyn-based beauty/hair brand, raised a second round of funding of undisclosed amount.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its domestic and international growth, from expanded distribution to product development, sampling and digital marketing.
Founded in 2016 by Tyson Kennedy and Tim Youngson and led by newly named CEO Kenny Kahn, a notable beauty industry veteran, Fatboy Products is a beauty brand currently providing daily care essentials and an assortment of award-winning styling products.
Its seven SKU collection include Fatboy Collection Perfect Putty, Tough Guy Water Wax, Boss Dog Styling Cream, Daily Hydrating Shampoo, Daily Hydrating Conditioner, Sea Salt Pomade and Fatboy Soap.
The products are currently distributed in 4 countries outside the U.S. – Norway, Japan, Australia and New Zealand – and is looking to expand the brand’s global presence into other markets.
Beyond omni channel distribution plans, Fatboy’s growth trajectory includes the launch of 3 new styling and treatment products in 2018, comprehensive sampling and marketing partnerships with Ispy and Fit Fab Fun, as well as an integrated digital marketing strategy.
