DMOS Collective Raises Series A Funding Round

DMOS Collective, a Jackson Hole, WY-based provider of collapsible stealth and alpha shovels, raised a Series A funding round of undisclosed amount.

Astia Angels, a global community investing exclusively in women-led ventures, provided the funding.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its active tool designs in 2018, and tap into a wider customer base in the first responder, law enforcement, and search and rescue industries.

Launched in 2015 by Susan Pieper, CEO, DMOS Collective provides shovels that combine construction out of aircraft-grade aluminum with portability and stowability. They also feature full-sized handles and teeth, both designed for maximum shoveling power.
DMOS is sold through Hammacher Schlemmer, Duluth Trading Company, Backcountry.com, Campsaver, Moosejaw, and Zumiez.
