CityStasher Raises $1.1M in Seed Funding

CityStasher, a London, UK-based network of locations to leave luggage, raised $1.1m in seed funding.

The round was led by Venture Friends with participation from Howzat Partners, Charlotte Street Capital and angel investors including James Gibson. In conjunction with the funding, George Dimoupolous, partner and co-founder at VentureFriends, will join CityStasher’s board.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach across Europe (France, Germany, Italy and Spain).

Led by Jacob Wedderburn-Day, CEO, CityStasher operates a network of 200 local stores, hotels and other venues where travelers can leave their bags securely for a given time. Users pay once, £6 per bag, for 24 hours of storage and can add an extra 24 hours for £5 per bag. Luggage is covered up to £750 against damage, loss and theft. An online customer service assist 24/7.
