Apttus Receives Investment from IBM

Apttus, a San Mateo, Calif.-based provider of Quote-to-Cash and Contract Lifecycle Management solutions utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), received an investment from IBM.

IBM joined multiple investors in Apttus’ Series E funding.

The company plans to use this investment to further its plan to deliver AI-based business solutions to customers around the world within enterprise processes such as revenue generation and management of commercial relationships.

Led by Kirk Krappe, Chairman and CEO, Apttus provides Intelligent Middle Office platform allowing enterprises to automate and optimize their revenue and commercial relationship management processes. The platform is powered by the Apttus Intelligent Cloud, a hybrid-cloud platform utilizing technologies from Salesforce, Microsoft and IBM.
The company’s innovations also include Max, an applied AI for Quote-to-Cash applications.

Customers include hundreds of the world’s mid-sized organizations and the who’s who of the Global 1000.
