SwipeSense Raises $10.6M Series B2 Funding Round

SwipeSense, a Chicago, IL-based healthcare technology company, raised a $10.6m Series B2 funding round.

The round was led by Eclipse Ventures, with participation from Sandbox Industries and other existing technology and healthcare investors.

The company, which has raised a total of $23.3m in funding, intends to use the capital to grow the team, to evolve its hand hygiene solution and scale up product development for new applications, including asset tracking and nurse rounding.

Led by Mert Iseri, CEO, Michael Cruz, vice president of engineering, Katy De Leon, vice president of marketing, and Stephen Williamson, vice president of sales, SwipeSense provides an electronic hand hygiene application that empowers healthcare facilities to create behavior change and reduce risks associated with Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) by providing hospital employees with accurate and actionable data.

Hospitals nationwide are currently using SwipeSense.
