OutboundWorks Raises $2.25M in Seed Funding

OutboundWorks, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a sales development platform, raised $2.25M in seed funding.

The round was led by True Ventures, which will invest $1.85m with additional funds coming from NextGen Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Phil Black of True Ventures will be joining the board.

The company intends to use the funds to grow the product and engineering teams.

Co-founded in 2107 by Bryan Franklin, CEO, Travis Wallis, CSO and Ben Sardella, CRO, OutboundWorks provides a SaaS based sales development platform that combines human experts and automation to deliver qualified appointments to B2B companies. The solution identifies targeted accounts that match the customer’s ideal customer profile (ICP) at scale, and then delivers personalized messaging campaigns to key personas at these target accounts. Customers include AddShoppers, Distribute.com and RingDNA.
