Continuum Security Secures €1.5M in Funding

Continuum Security, a Madrid, Spain-based cybersecurity company, secured €1.5m in funding.

The round was led by Swanlaab Venture Factory with participation from JME Venture Capital and Sonae IM.

The company intends to use the funds to strengthen its international growth strategy and further develop its sales and R&D teams.

Founded and managed by Stephen de Vries and Cristina Bentué, Continuum Security is a cybersecurity company which has created a threat modeling platform for customers to automate and scale this secure design activity.
In 2016, the company launched IriusRisk, a solution targeted at enterprises to enable developers and security analysts to mitigate software vulnerabilities at application design time.
As a result of this investment, Continuum Security will release IriusRisk 2.0 in 2018. In addition, the company has also built a BDD-Security framework, an open source dynamic testing tool for businesses to integrate security testing into their development pipelines.

The company has a team of 10 and customers across Europe and the USA, primarily focusing on the financial and technology verticals.
