WireWheel.io, an Arlington, Va.-based developer of a data privacy and protection platform, completed a $3.1m seed financing.
The round was led by PSP Growth and New Enterprise Associates (NEA) with participation from Steve Case, Sean Glass and others.
The company plans to use the funds to hire technical talent, build out its product and test with early adopters.
Founded in 2016 by Justin Antonipillai, Amol Deshpande and Chris Getner, WireWheel.io delivers a cloud-based solution to enable privacy professionals to become GDPR-ready and operationalize privacy in the enterprise.
