Wellness Telecom, a Seville, Spain-based provider of IOT, Energy Efficiency and Smart City solutions, closed a Series A round of financing of undisclosed amount.
Enzen Group, a global energy and water company headquartered in India with presence in over 12 countries, made the strategic investment.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its international reach in key geographies like US, Scandinavia, Germany, UK or India, broaden and accelerate the smart city and IOT products and solutions development, and expand its workforce by 25% in the next 12 months.
Led by David García Ternero, Founder and CEO, Wellness Telecom offer services and products focused on improving the efficiency and processes of cities and private companies thanks to their end-to-end IoT solutions.
In the Smart Cities sector, the company has worked on the IoT concept in the fields of energy efficiency, the environment and mobility, with solutions such as WeLight and Quamtra, targeting the markets of intelligent public street lighting and smart waste management, respectively.
Founded in 2008, the company has offices in Malaga, Madrid, Mexico City and the USA and presence in more than 200 cities and 100 private companies, across more than 60 different countries worldwide.
