Pixvana, a Seattle, WA-based XR (VR/AR/MR) technology startup, raised $14m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Vulcan Capital with participation from new investors Raine Ventures, Microsoft Ventures, Cisco Investments and Hearst Ventures, and existing investor Madrona Venture Group.
Led by Forest Key, CEO, Pixvana provides a cloud platform SPIN Studio that enables anyone to create and distribute next-generation video experiences by authoring and delivering virtual, augmented, and mixed reality video content.
With headset support and direct integration to leading XR platforms, SPIN Studio handles everything from stitching, editing, publishing, and playback in one seamless workflow. It offers creative tools for XR storytelling, including customized templates and interactive hyperports.
