Enjoius Raises $1.4m in Seed Funding

Enjoius, a Los Angeles, CA-based lifestyle platform dedicated to entertaining and celebrating, raised $1.4m in seed funding.

Backers included:
– Nancy Tellem (Executive Chairman, Eko Studios and former President of CBS Network Television Group),
– Daniel Murray (CFO Dollar Shave Club),
– Angela Mathes (Entrepreneur & former President, ABC Daytime TV) and
– Kent Wakeford (COO & Board Member KSV esports),
– among other investors.

The company will use the funds to invest in product development and marketing while building its operations and strategic partnerships.

Led by founder and CEO Christopher Cunningham, Enjoius provides an online marketplace for personalized event design services that allow people to discover content, get step-by-step advice, shop hand-picked products, and hire the right event professionals to bring their event ideas to life.
For brands, Enjoius offers a platform where they can market their products and services and increase sales on their existing commerce sites and marketing channels or through the Enjoius network by integrating their products within curated content and value-added services provided by lifestyle experts, event pros and service providers. It also provides insights and data to brands creating a more targeted, personalized shopping experience.
Enjoius has about 600,000 event pros currently on its platform and partners with more than 100 event planners and 40 celebrity tastemakers and stylists, including Katie Brown and Lulu Powers, to provide inspiring party ideas, tips & tricks, and hand-picked product essentials.

The company’s signature product is Enjoius Party Plans, a product that guides users to create a party according to one’s vision and budget.
