Empiric Health, a Salt Lake City, UT-based healthtech startup, closed $3m in a super seed financing.
Intermountain Healthcare provided the funding.
The company will use the funds to commercialize and expand its service offering and workflow optimization tools.
Launched earlier this year by Intermountain Healthcare and Oxeon Partners and led by Rick Adam, chief executive officer, Empiric is a technology-enabled service platform that aims to lower cost and improve outcomes for health system customers through data-driven physician practice change. It leverages a proprietary comparative analytics methodology and proven ability to change physician behavior, so that care providers can understand and optimize for high value, episodic care.
