Aurora Labs Raises $2.7M in Seed Funding

Aurora Labs, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based developer of a self-healing platform for connected cars to reduce software recalls, came out of stealth mode with $2.7m in seed funding.

Backers included venture capital funds Maniv Mobility, MizMaa Ventures, Expansion Venture Capital, and Trucks Venture Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to run several live projects with major OEMs.

Founded in 2016 by Zohar Fox, CEO, and Ori Lederman, COO, Aurora Labs is developing a self-healing platform for connected cars to proactively manage and reduce the costs of multibillion-dollar software recalls in the automotive industry.
The platform monitors on-board vehicle software to detect anomalies before they lead to malfunctions in critical systems by generating entirely new datasets for diagnostic purposes. Once identified, the platform enables providers to dispatch universal Delta Over-the-Air (OTA) updates for any vehicle system.
