aCommerce Secures $65m in Series B Funding

aCommerce Co. Ltd, a Bangkok, Indonesia-based ecommerce enabler and e-distributor, secured $65m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Emerald Media with participation from previous backers Blue Sky, MDI Ventures and DKSH.

Founded in June 2013 by Paul Srivorakul, Group CEO, aCommerce provides end-to-end ecommerce technologies and solutions including performance marketing, channel management, webstore design and operations, content production, order fulfillment and warehousing, delivery and logistics and localized customer care. Its brand-centric tech platform allows clients to plug in and distribute through an integrated network of Business-to-Consumer channels (e.g. online brand stores, e-marketplaces like Lazada and Shopee) and Business-to-Business) channels, and via real-time data analytics.
The company currently serves over 260 brands such as Samsung, Unilever, Nestlé, L’Oreal, Philips and Mars, enabling them to sell their products in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. It has over 1,400 staff and offices and fulfillment centers in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

aCommerce intends to use the funds to further invest in its platform, scale strategic partnerships within the retail ecosystem in current markets: expand into new markets like Malaysia and Vietnam.
