Xmos Raises $15M in Series E Funding

XMOS Ltd., a Bristol, UK-based provider of voice capture solutions for the consumer electronics market, recently raised $15M in Series E funding.

The round was led by Infineon Technologies with participation from existing investors Amadeus Capital Partners, Draper Esprit, Foundation Capital and Robert Bosch Venture Capital.

The company intends to use the funds for its product development plans.

Led by Mark Lippett, President and CEO, XMOS is a supplier of voice and audio solutions to the consumer electronics market by combining voice processing, biometrics and artificial intelligence.
The company provides a range of xCORE real-time, flexible, 32bit multicore microcontrollers and audio processors, a comprehensive range of verified software libraries that users you can leverage to configure xCORE to support a wide range of interfaces and to deliver a broad set of capabilities, complete reference software solutions, The xTIMEcomposer Studio development tools, which provide a familiar software development environment that delivers real-time performance from code and allows full timing validation for design, and a range of flexible development boards, to test an embedded system concept.
