Templum Raises $2.7M in Seed Funding

-

Templum, LLC, a NYC-based fintech startup facilitating regulatory compliant ICOs as securities and secondary trading of digital assets, closed a $2.7m seed funding round.

The round was led by Raptor Group, Galaxy Investment Partners, Blockchain Capital and firstminute.capital.

The company will use the capital for operational expansion, product development and talent acquisition.

Led by Chris Pallotta, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Templum operates at the intersection of blockchain and digital assets in a manner that facilitates transparent access to capital with a focus on investor protection.
The company intends to bring new technological advances to the capital markets, specifically through ICOs, with the aim to open new sources of capital for innovative companies and provide those capital sources with enhanced investor protections and secondary liquidity opportunities in a fully regulated environment.

The funding follows Templum’s recent deal with broker dealer Liquid M Capital, LLC, to launch a regulatory compliant solution, known as Templum, for the initial issuance and secondary trading of Initial Coin Offerings (“ICOs”) as securities.
