Quomi Raises €600K in Second Funding Round

Quomi, a Milan, Italy-based food tech startup, raised €600k in a second funding round.  

Backers included private investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its partnership deals, grow the team, and increase its sales and marketing efforts.

Co-founded in 2015 by Andrea Bruno and Daniele Bruttini and backed by listed startup incubator Digital Magics (DM), Quomi is a food tech startup which delivers meal kits to the customer. It enables customers to subscribe the service, receive new recipes and have dinner with fresh products, according to the principles of the Mediterranean diet. Every box features fresh and predosed ingredients and recipes inspired to the Mediterranean diet including red meat, fish, vegetables and cereals.

Launched in January 2016, the company has served over 2,500 customer and delivered 45,000 boxes. Partners include such brands as Barilla, Perugina, Delicius and Caffè Vergnano, among others.
