Hobs Group Receives £4m Investment from BGF

Hobs Group, a Liverpool, UK-based provider of 2D and 3D content, innovative document solutions, received a further £4m investment from Business Growth Fund (BGF).

The company, which has raised more than £11m in total funding, intends to use the capital to continue the expansion of its 3D printing, reprographics, facilities management and legal support services businesses in the UK, in addition to exploring future acquisition opportunities.

Led by CEO James Duckenfield, The group operates:
– Hobs Studio, Hobs Studio, which offers 3D printing, terrestrial scanning and digital visualisations for architectural, engineering, construction and product designers, operates from London, Manchester, Bristol and Glasgow.
– Hobs Repro, which operates from 21 sites across the UK, is innovating in digital print and introducing new digital services such as AI-enhanced bid management systems and services.
– Hobs On-Site, , which works in client and near site facilities, provides companies with digital transformation and agile working, delivering digital mailroom, document management and creative services on client-sites.
– Anexsys, the group’s legal services business, which provides eDiscovery, digital forensics, managed legal systems and legal hardcopy services.

As part of its growth strategy, the business recently completed the acquisitions of Face Creative Services and K2 Legal Support and invested in new ERP and Web to Print systems. The group has over 410 employees nationwide and an overall turnover of +£35m.
