HashiCorp, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of cloud infrastructure automation solutions, raised $40m in Series C funding.
The round, which brings the total raised to $74m, was led by GGV Capital and Redpoint Ventures, with participation from Mayfield and True Ventures.
The company plans to use the new funding to accelerate investment across its go-to-market, engineering, and customer success teams.
Co-founded by CTOs Mitchell Hashimoto and Armon Dadgar, and led by CEO Dave McJannet, HashiCorp is a cloud infrastructure automation company that enables organizations to adopt consistent workflows to provision, secure, connect, and run any infrastructure for any application. The company’s open source tools Vagrant, Packer, Terraform, Vault, Consul, and Nomad are broadly adopted by the Global 2000. Enterprise versions of these products enhance the open source tools with features that promote collaboration, operations, governance, and multi-data center functionality.
Customers include Adobe, Barclays, Citadel, Comcast, Ellucian, Lotto New Zealand, New Relic, SAP Ariba, Segment, and Spaceflight.
