Eos Venture Partners Teams Up with Startupbootcamp InsurTech in Hartford, CT

Eos Venture Partners (Eos) is teaming up with the Hartford InsurTech Hub (Connecticut) powered by Startupbootcamp InsurTech.

By extending its existing relationship and funding commitment with Startupbootcamp to their new program in the US, following the partnership with SBC InsurTech in London, Eos will make up to $1m of capital available for participants in the program.

Led by Sam Evans, Founder and General Partner, and Jonathan Kalman, General Partner, based on the East Coast of the US, Eos provides financing and advisory services to entrepreneurs building innovative businesses in the insurance sector.

Established in 2017 by Hartford insurance companies, the City of Hartford, and CTNext, Hartford InsurTech Hub is an insurtech accelerator, powered by Startupbootcamp, focused on addressing the need for attracting new technologies and talent in insurance and technology into the City of Hartford and the local ecosystem. The program partners include Cigna, The Hartford, Travelers, CTNext, USAA and White Mountains.

Launched in 2015 and led by Led by Sabine VanderLinden, Managing Director, Startupbootcamp InsurTech is an insurance accelerator that focuses on identifying globally-located disruptive and collaborative insurance and technology innovations. Based in London, the program is part of Startupbootcamp, the global network of industry-focused accelerator programs with 20+ programs in Europe, Asia, North & South America, MENA & Africa.
