e2E Raises £1.5M in funding from YFM

e2E Engineering Limited, a Welwyn Garden City and Gateshead, UK-based technical consultancy focusing on the telecommunications sector, raised £1.5m in funding.

YFM Equity Partners provided the capital.

The investment will be used to commercialize and launch NEATaccess, an innovative communications node.

Founded in 1999 by Barry Ross, Eliot Minn and Chris Clarke, e2E Engineering is a technical consultancy operating in the telecommunications market, with particular expertise in satellite communications. With support from the European Space Agency and Innovate UK, the company has developed its own suite of products and services that aim to solve communications-based problems in the telecommunications industry.
e2E’s vision is founded on the belief that innovative delivery platforms including Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), High Altitude Platforms (HAPs), High Altitude Pseudo Satellites (HAPS) and small nano-satellites will provide cost efficient communications solutions to niche enterprises that find current satellite alternatives restrictive or prohibitively expensive.
