Constructor.io, a San Francisco, CA-based on-site search company, raised $5m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Zetta Venture Partners, with participation from Signia Venture Partners.
The company will use the funds to continue to develop the platform and expand operations.
Led by Eli Finkelshteyn, Co-founder and CEO, Constructor.io provides an on-site search autosuggest that enabes visitors to find what they need and brands convert traffic into revenue. The company’s flagship offering uses machine learning to learn from website users to make better on-site search suggestions, overcome spelling errors, update result rankings and master synonyms.
Constructor.io already works with large online retailers such as Jet.com, as well as SaaS companies like Expensify and healthcare innovators like Eligible.
