Baxter Planning Systems, an Austin, TX-based supply chain SaaS company, received a growth investment from Polaris Partners.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed. In conjunction with the investment, Dan Lombard, Partner at Polaris Partners, and Bryce Youngren, Managing Partner at Polaris Partners, joined Baxter’s Board of Directors.
Additionally, Polaris recruited three senior industry executives — all of whom personally invested — to join the Baxter Board of Directors and work closely with management. These include: Jim Martell, Sandy Smith, and Bob Ranaldi.

Founded by Greg and Audrey Baxter, Baxter Planning Systems provides SaaS based aftermarket supply chain software, Prophet, which enables OEMs to optimize their aftermarket operations by reducing inventory and transport costs while improving service levels.
Customers include global organizations that service mission-critical capital equipment.
