Utonomy, a Southampton, UK-based intelligent gas grid solutions provider, secured £500k in funding.
The investor was Foresight Group LLP on behalf of the Foresight Williams Technology EIS Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to complete the product development, certification and customer trials of its solution for reducing methane emissions.
Established in 2015 and led by Adam Kingdon, CEO, Utonomy provides intelligent solutions for reducing leakage in gas distribution networks. Its Internet of Things platform automatically optimizes gas distribution pressures through electro-mechanical actuators retrofitted to the network and controlled by intelligent, cloud-based software.
