Tech Advisor & Investor Gajan Rajanathan Joins Highland Europe

Highland Europe, a London and Geneva-based growth stage investor focused on internet, mobile and software businesses, has added tech advisor and investor Gajan Rajanathan to the team.

In the last 18 months, Rajanathan has advised on some of the UK’s biggest tech deals including the £1.43bn sale of Skyscanner to Ctrip of China and the sale of Swiftkey to Microsoft in March 2016.
He also advised on the sale of Withings, the French wearable tech company, to Nokia in early 2016 and previously worked closely with the Highland Europe team, advising on the $40 million fundraising round for enterprise videoconferencing company StarLeaf which completed in May this year.

Rajanathan has more than a decade’s experience working in mergers and acquisitions with a focus on working with technology companies in Europe and the US. He joined Silicon Valley’s Qatalyst Partners in 2009 and was responsible for building and growing the M&A advisory firm’s European operations.
Prior to that, Rajanathan worked in Credit Suisse’s M&A group in New York.
