DreamJay, a San Francisco, CA- and Warsaw, Poland-based maker of a medical app to remedy sleep-issues, raised $2.3m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Joint Polish Investment Fund with participation from Nordic Makers, and other private investors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue its current operations and the research and development of its app, Nightly.
Led by CEO Łukasz Młodyszewski, DreamJay is dedicated to remedying sleep-issues through research and technology via a mobile medical app, called Nightly. The application works by playing audio and video content to reduce stress and anxiety, calming the body and mind, to manage bad dreams, improve quality of sleep and reduce the number of wake-ups.
It can also monitor and analyze sleep patterns.
The app will be launched in the fall of 2017.
