2Hire Raises €600k in Seed Funding

2Hire, a Rome, Italy-based maker of a hardware device for people to manage a vehicle remotely, raised €600k in seed funding.

Backers included LVenture Group, the holding company listed on MTA that invests in digital startups, Invitalia Ventures and business angels including members of the Angel Partner Group (APG) network.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate production and industrialization of the product, as well as speed up software development.

Co-founded by Filippo Agostino, CEO, Andrea Verdelocco, iOS Developer, and Matteo Filippi, CTO, 2Hire develops a hardware device that allows people to manage their vehicle remotely. The device is installed in the standard OBD port, present in all cars, and allows to monitor the status of a vehicle in real time. In this way, the smartphone becomes the digital key of the vehicle.
The company completed the latest edition of LUISS ENLABS – the startup accelerator launched via a joint venture between LVenture Group and LUISS University – in May 2017.
