Upper Hand Raises Additional Funding

Upper Hand, an Indianapolis-based sports management software company, raised additional funding which brought the total raised to date to $2.4m.

Backers included Elevate Ventures and former Finish Line executives.

The company intends to use the funds for continued sales growth and release a new enterprise software product.

Led by Kevin MacCauley, Founder and CEO, Upper Hand has built a sports software system for sports management professionals, coaches and trainers. Earlier this year, the company released an all-new sports management platform, equipped with a sports business intelligence reporting platform, integrated point of sale and mobile applications in both Apple’s App Store and the Google Play store.

As part of the capital raise, Don Courtney joined Sabre Travel Network Vice Chairman Greg Webb (added earlier this year) on the Upper Hand’s Board of Directors.
