Unshacked Ventures to Raise $25M Second Venture Capital Fund

Unshacked Ventures, a Palo Alto, CA-based early-stage venture capital firm focused on investing in companies founded by foreign-born entrepreneurs, is seeking to raise its second fund.

Per an SEC filing, Unshackled Ventures Fund II, L.P., plans to raise $25m.

Led by Nitin Pachisia and Manan Mehta, Unshackled Ventures believes that when we remove the obstacles for diverse teams they are free to tackle the biggest problems in the world investing up to $300k per company in pre-seed rounds and targeting an 8-15% stake equity ownership.
The firm also provide employment and immigration support needed to legally work and build a company in the U.S. and leverages a network of hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors and executives to help founders grow faster.
The first fund, supported by 80+ highly influential investors, including Brad Feld, First Round Capital, Jerry Yang and Laurene Powell Jobs, has made investments in Geospago, Sote Logistics, OnTarget, Pluto, Shortlist, SenseiHub, Togg, Lily, Immediately, Sporple, Starsky Robotics, BriteHealth, Pod Foods Co, Caascade, and GridRaster.

The team also includes Michael Serotte, Law Partner, Brooke McGraw, Operations Manager and Maria Salamanca, Associate.
