Ideal, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of AI powered recruiting software, raises $3M in funding.
The round was led by Mike Durland, Michael Hyatt and Richard Hyatt, with participation from the MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the AI capabilities of its virtual recruiting assistant and onboard new customers.
Led by CEO Somen Mondal and COO Shaun Ricci, Ideal provides an intelligent virtual assistant that leverages AI to automate time-consuming, repetitive tasks including candidate sourcing, resume screening, shortlisting and candidate outreach by screening and shortlisting every single candidate, learning and mimicking the expertise of top human recruiters.
