Filld, a Mountain View, CA-based mobile fueling service that delivers gas directly to individual, commercial and enterprise customers, raised $9.65m in Series A financing.
The round was led by Shea Ventures, with participation from previous investors PivotNorth Capital, Javelin Venture Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Lucas Venture Group, as well as new investor Cendana Capital.
The company, which has raised more than $16m in total funding to date, intends to use the funds to further invest in scaling its current operations for expansion, and to continue acceleratiog its current, and signing new, strategic partnerships.
Led by Michael Buhr, CEO, Filld is a mobile fueling service that delivers gas directly to individual, commercial and enterprise customers – eliminating the need to stop for gas. Customers request gas delivery via the mobile app, share a vehicle’s location, and schedule time to have the tank filled. A professionally-trained and licensed driver arrives in a certified, specially-modified small truck to fill up each car with the customer who does not need to be present.
The company already works with Bentley Motors, Volvo, Daimler car2go and Enterprise Rent-A-Car, among others.
