Wind Point Partners Closes Eighth Private Equity Fund, at $985M

Wind Point Partners, a Chicago, IL-based private equity firm, closed its eighth fund, at $985m.

Wind Point Partners, VIII, wich exceeded its initial hard cap of $750m, will follow a strategy consistent with its predecessor focusing on partnering with CEOs to acquire solid middle market companies with a clear path to value creation in consumer products, industrial products, and business services markets.
WPP VIII has already invested over $280 million and committed an additional $140 million of equity capital in six portfolio companies – Evans Food Group, St. George Logistics, Aurora Plastics, Paragon Films, Vee Pak, and Valicor.

Co-founded by Senior Advisors Bob Cummings and Rich Kracum, Wind Point is led by Managing Directors Nathan Brown, Mark Burgett, Paul Peterson, Konrad Salaber, David Stott, and Alex Washington, Principal Joe Lawler, Associate Vice President Peter Leemputte and Associates Charlie Spokes, Kyle Dawson, Clayton Finley, Adam Jump, Ellis Krienik, and Michael Kruse.
The Fund Operations are granted by LeAnn Kilarski (COO, CFO, and CCO), Katie Schmidgall (Controller), Alina Stupakevich (Accounting Associate), Shani D’Angelo (Senior Finance and Compliance Associate), Hannah Mitchell-Yoder (Operations and Project Manager), Alexandra Cohen (Investor Relations Associate), Emily Dobrowski and Ainsleigh Monaghan (Marketing Associate).
