ComForCare Health Care Holdings, LLC, the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based franchisor of ComForCare Home Care and At Your Side Home Care home care agencies, received an investment from The Riverside Company.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. Saratoga Investment Corp. provided financing supporting the deal.
The company intends to use the funds to expand both in new markets and deepen penetration of existing markets, invest in sales and marketing, pursue strategic add-ons, and continue to develop new services.
ComForCare franchisees provide non-medical and private duty nursing services to the elderly, physically handicapped, and injured in their homes.
They also offer supplemental staffing services to healthcare facilities.
The company operates 196 locations in 34 states and three Canadian provinces.
