Owl’s Brew Closes Series A Funding

Owl’s Brew, a NYC-based creator of the tea-based cocktail mixer and Owl’s Brew Radler, a blend of tea and beer, closed its Series A funding.

The amount of the deal was not dislosed.

Investors included Cambridge Companies SPG and ZX Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds for the launch of Owl’s Brew Radler, as well as growth of the Owl’s Brew mixer brand.

Created in 2013 by Jennie Ripps and Maria Littlefield, Owl’s Brew offers non-alcoholic mixers which consist of five different flavors including The Classic, White and Vine, Pink and Black, Coco-Lada and Wicked Green. The recently launched Owl’s Brew Radler, comprised of 60% craft beer and 40% fresh-brewed tea, is available in three SKUs, The Blondie, Wicked Watermelon and That’s My JAM, all of which have an ABV of 3.8%.
Owl’s Brew Radler, a blend of tea and beer, can be found in select on and off-premise locations in New York, New Jersey, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Delaware, DC, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Ohio, with plans to eventually expand to the west coast and nationwide.
