Mojiit, a NYC-based a 3D overlay technology startup, closed on angel funding of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by former National Football League and Baltimore Ravens player Ed Reed.
The company will use the funds to drive growth and innovation.
Led by PingTank co-founder and serial entrepreneur Jeremy Greene, Mojiit combines emojis with hologram technology to enable users to project 3D hologram emojis via smartphones. Users can choose from a range of emojis styles to illuminate and share with friends.
