Hero K12 Raises $150M in Equity Funding

Hero K12, a Miami Lakes, Fla.-based EdTech company, received a $150M equity investment.

BV Investment Partners made the investment.

The company will use the funds to increase its acquisition capacity, to invest in education technology businesses that expand its solutions, delivering an integrated platform for educators to create connected and positive learning environments.

Led by Chief Executive Officer Mark MacDonald and Oliver Wreford, Chief Product and Strategy Officer, Hero K12 provides student behavior management applications to capture and collect data that allows schools to replace traditional discipline policies with initiatives that emphasize and recognize positive behaviors.
