ebb3, an Alderley Edge, UK-based provider of data intensive 3D graphical applications, raised £1m in funding.
Maven Capital Partners made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to develop its services and expand its skilled team with up to 20 new hires in the current financial year.
Formed in January 2016, ebb3 has developed a cloud-based high performance 3D virtualisation software solution for graphics-intensive applications.
The technology is able to drive applications for computer assisted design (CAD) or computer generated imagery (CGI), delivering 3D graphics to 4K displays to allow engineers or designers working on graphically intensive workloads to collaborate remotely across any device.
