Babyscripts Raises $5.7M in Funding

Babyscripts, a Washington, DC-based virtual care women’s health platform, raised $5.7m in new funding.

The round was led by Ysios Capital with participation from Chemo Group, CG Health Ventures, Aurora Health Care Ventures, and P5 Health Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand services for expecting mothers.

Led by Juan Pablo Segura and Anish Sebastian, Babyscripts is a virtual care platform for obstetrics that allows OBGYNs to deliver a new model of prenatal care. The platform is powered by a suite of mobile apps that drive better patient decision making, internet-connected devices for remote monitoring, and a host of population health tools to give providers access to patient data in real time.

The company is collaborating with partners like Aurora HealthCare, Florida Hospital, and UCSF (University of California San Francisco) to build more products for high-risk patients in pregnancy.
