Agentology Raises $4.5m in Funding

Agentology, a San Diego, CA-based lead qualification service and referral network for real estate agents, raised $4.5m in funding.

The round was led by Freestyle Capital, with participation from Entry Ventures Group and OurCrowd.

The company intends to use the funds to invest in more technology and to scale its service to the country’s top agents and teams.

Led by David and Avi Tal originally, Agentology operates an engagement team that responds to agents’ leads within five minutes, 24/7, via phone, text, and email. In addition to following up on leads immediately, the service can also refer leads that agents simply don’t want or cannot handle to a trusted agent in the network, enabling the Agentology agent to manage and track the entire process and then pay the referring agent a 25% referral fee at closing.

Agentology concierges are trained to ask all of the questions real estate agents want to know about their prospects, like mortgage status, time frame, neighborhoods of interest, and motivations.
