Lunar, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based mobile money app developer, raised a further €4.7M in funding.
The round, which now totals €8.7m, was led by Seed Capital and Nykredit.
The company is using the funds to continue to develop the app adding new features and expand operations.
Led by CEO Ken Villum Klausen, Lunar Way is advancing a mobile app for people in the Nordics to interact with their money, featuring notifications and transaction break down. The company currently offers customers a full account with a debit card, subscription-based credit, and a personal crowdfunding tool called “Fund Me”.
It is available for iOS and Android.
In addition to the funding, Gary Bramall CMO at Mytaxi joined the board to help Lunar Way expand into Northern Europe and beyond.
