IQuity Raises $2.35m in Funding

IQuity, a Nashville, Tenn.-based life science tech company, raised $2.35m in funding.

Backers were not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to open its new CLIA-certified laboratory in Nashville.

Led by Chase Spurlock, Founder and CEO, IQuity is a specialty diagnostic technology company leveraging machine learning methods to deliver RNA analytics for autoimmune disease. The new lab will enable the company to measure RNA in patient blood samples to detect the presence or absence of several autoimmune diseases.
IQuity will begin taking orders from physicians in late May for IsolateMS, the first RNA-based diagnostic test to detect multiple sclerosis.
