Frame Raises $16M in Funding

Frame, a San Mateo, Calif.-based secure cloud workspace platform, raised $16m in funding.

Backers included Bain Capital Ventures, Microsoft Ventures, In-Q-Tel and existing investor CNTP. As part of the investment, Salil Deshpande, managing director from Bain Capital Ventures, joined Frame’s board of directors.

The company, which has raised a total of $32m since 2013, will use the funds to accelerate market growth and expand operations.

Led by Nikola Bozinovic, founder and CEO, Frame provides cloud-based virtual workspaces that make it easy to run Windows applications from any device, at any time, using hyperscale cloud services like Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
The company’s solution is used by enterprises, service providers and software vendors, such as Adobe, Autodesk, HP, Siemens and SolidWorks.
