Bonsai, a Berkeley, CA-based provider of an AI platform for enterprises to build and deploy intelligent systems, raised $7.6m as an extension to its recent Series A round of funding.

The round, which brought the total amount raised to date to $13.6m, was co-led by Microsoft Ventures and existing investor New Enterprise Associates with participation from ABB Technology Ventures, Samsung NEXT and Siemens.

The company intends to use the funds for continued product innovation and accelerated customer engagement.
