YourWelcome, a London, UK-based provider of a tablet for vacation rentals & short-term lets, raised £1m in seed funding.
The round, which pre-money valued YourWelcome at £5m, was led by Flux Group, with participation from Simon Emeny, James Devitt and other angel investors.
The company, which has raised approx. £1.4m in total funding, intends to use the capital for international expansion in the US, Europe and Asia.
Led by Henry Bennett – CEO & Co-Founder, and Paul Loram – COO & Co-Founder, YourWelcome provides AirBnB property hosts with an 8 inch tablet pre-loaded with custom hospitality software with all the features guests need. Hosts who rent the device can:
– add a user generated welcome video and any instructional videos necessary to communicate any essential information and/or quirks of their property,
– curate and enable daily local offers for attractions, restaurants and days out that they believe will enhance their guests stay, and
– leave the device on a stand or wall mount for the guests during their stay at their AirBnB property.
On arrival, guests can instantly view the host generated welcome and instructional videos, while being introduced to the hosts local recommendations and daily hyper local offers for attractions, restaurants and days out.
