UniFi‘s parent company Shanghai Wheat Asset Management Co., Ltd., a Shangai, China-based Internet-based financial information service provider, received a Series B funding round of undisclosed amount.

The new funds will be used to incubate upgraded Internet finance products as well as to further the company’s talent development.
Led by Huang Darong, CEO and Chairman, MaiziJinfu operates UniFi, which provides low-interest loans designed for overseas students who are in need for capital support to start a business or purchase a car.
In May 2015, MaiziJinfu obtained A Round funding from Haitong Innovation Capital Management Company, which is affiliated with Haitong Security, one of the oldest securities companies in China.
