Backers include Arjun Sethi from The Social+Capital Partnership, Peter Rojas from Betaworks Ventures, Danhua Capital, Mirarmar Ventures, etc.
The company will use the funds to expand operations.
Led by CEO Shane Walker, Fariz Chowdhury, and Jim Hefner, Me.me operates a search engine that makes memes searchable and shareable and an API. In Q4 2016, the platform grew 225% to serve over 700m memes.
