LoveCrafts Raises £26M in Funding

LoveCrafts, a London, UK based creator of online crafts communities, completed a £26m funding.

The round was led by Scottish Equity Partners (SEP), with participation current investors Balderton and Highland Europe. In conjunction with the funding, Stuart Paterson, Partner at Scottish Equity Partners (SEP), joined the board of LoveCrafts.

The company intends to use the funds to further scale operations expanding internationally and improve the technology which enables users to connect through the platform including the launch of further crafting sites.

Founded in 2012 by Cherry Freeman, Nigel Whiteoak and Edward Griffith, LoveCrafts provides a complete ecosystem comprised of content, commerce and community for makers to ignite their inspiration, and manage project planning, buy their supplies and share their creations.
The company has its head office in Soho, London, and distribution centres in Missouri and Manchester.
